Do you remember wondering if you really could fly while wearing that superman costume? Can you remember a time when you felt lost among a sea of “big people” - and then a set of familiar, strong arms scooped you up and made you feel safe again? Is it possible to count the number of hours you’ve spent watching movies where one of those “mild-mannered” types came to the rescue at the very last second? We can all tell stories about time such as these - times when good won out against seemingly insurmountable odds. Our tiny-k story continues to prove that with strength and determination, victories can be won every day. Families of young children who have received tiny-k services from RCDC will tell you about the heroic differences our staff members have made in their lives - from finding just the right piece of assistive technology to providing reassurance during challenging times - superheroes walk among us every day. This year’s Fantasy Tree Festival was held at the Garden City Clarion Hotel on Saturday, November 20, 2010 and was a great success!
