Shawn Myers is originally from Kansas City, Missouri. He attended college at Hastings College in Hastings, Nebraska. When asked about his interests, Shawn replied, “Being from Kansas City originally obviously make me a huge Chiefs and Royals fan, but I am also a die-hard Nebraska Cornhuskers Fan.” Shawn moved to Garden City in 2005.

Shawn is the President and CEO/Partner of Keller Leopold Insurance LLC, located in Garden City, KS. He is passionate about helping businesses and people protect what they have worked hard for. Shawn said he also enjoys leading his organization with a vision for excellence. He was also a volunteer fireman for the city of Holcomb for five years.

Aside from serving the Board of Directors for RCDC, Shawn also enjoys serving in the Children's Ministry at Cornerstone Church.

Shawn learned more about RCDC through Keller Leopold. Keller Leopold has supported RCDC for many years, and when the Capital Campaign came about, he got excited about helping the organization grow and move into the new facility.

Shawn stated he is married to his best friend Betsy Myers, and they have four children Jace, Jack, Taytum, and Tierce.
