About the Course
Evidence suggests that physical activity patterns tracked from childhood to adulthood are changing. Health-risk behaviors, such as being sedentary, develop in the early years and are more difficult to reverse as children age. As a result, increased attention is now being given to the physical activity patterns of children from birth to five years of age. In addition, research in the field shows growing numbers of overweight children. There are many health benefits to being active, and it’s clear how important it is to encourage our children to play more. Attend to learn more.
