GARDEN CITY, Kan. – Russell Child Development Center (RCDC) welcomes Shara Sater to their team as the Building Blocks Data Manager. Sater will be working with building blocks staff and families to maintain accurate records for each program.
Sater attended Garden City Community College. She stopped to raise a family and 13 years later re-entered the workforce as a Children’s Director for a local church, after volunteering for many years. Later she took a position as an office manager for a chemical company, where she was given the task of creating a paper-less/digital system to integrate the new technology. Using Excel to create reports specific to the industry, for sales tracking and marketing she was able to train her counterparts throughout the company and teach some excel basics and beyond.
“It’s pretty exciting to work for RCDC, with such an outstanding reputation along with professional and caring staff. I am looking forward to doing my part in continuing the business of helping the children and families of Southwest Kansas. Most of all, I want to create a reliable system to track and record data for the Building Blocks program so ultimately more families can be reached. ” Sater said about her new position.
In her free time, Sater enjoys DIY projects, painting, cooking, gardening, playing the piano and spending time with her four kids and mini-aussie, Bentlley.
Shara Sater can be reached by calling the Garden City RCDC Office at (620) 275-0291 or by emailing at ssater@rcdc4kids.org.
